My paving skill is first class and I always lay paving on a mortar bed with a good compacted layer of MOT type 1 stone for the sub-base.You can be sure that the finished surface will be solid and even for a very long time.My favorite paving surface is natural sandstone fossil mint which looks very nice when layed and pointed correctly although this is my personal favorite, there are lots of colours available. I can help you with matching up correct egding and gravels to give the perfect finish.
